Samuel Sia is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Vice Provost at Columbia University, works on miniaturized diagnostics, wearable, and implantable devices. He was named by MIT Technology Review as one of the top's world young innovators, and is an inducted fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. He also co-founder of Rover Diagnostics, a low-cost provider of PCR analysis. He also co-founded Herlem Biospace, a biotech incubator facility with the New York City Mayor's Office that currently hosts over 70 companies.
